The fact that it is played by four people, that it is easy to learn, and that it gives voice to a wide range of people regardless of their age and athletic condition have undeniably made the sport’s fortune. If we then add to this the fact that the dynamics of the game make it particularly fun and satisfying for everyone from the very first time and the consequent addiction that it is capable of generating in players, here we have all the ingredients that explain the extent of this phenomenon. All or most of them.
Perhaps no one until now had ever thought about the Padel Court itself and how to transform it so that it can exert an unprecedented role unrelated to the purely technical aspect, entrusting it with the task of creating a bond with the people who are going to experience it, embodying their most exclusive style and uniqueness and making them excited thanks to an iconic aesthetic.
NXPadel has taken care of making this possible; a company that has always distinguished itself by making innovation its trademark and, after revolutionizing all components of the Padel Court with unprecedented solutions such as the Fiberglass structure, ComfortGlass walls, and ZeroS carpet, wanted to go further by launching through a special streaming event on their channels its most ambitious and extraordinary project ever.
It is called NXPadelSelection, a limited-edition collection of three exclusive Fiberglass courts that blend the ultimate in technology with an iconic aesthetic that will embody the spirit and style of the people who can recognize themselves in each of the three versions: The David, The Spectre, and The Timber.
We asked Nicola Ceresoli, CEO of NXPadel, a few questions to better understand what this is all about and what is behind this amazing idea.
- So, Nicola, tell us about how the idea of NXPadelSelection came about!
The idea was born from the constant desire to represent an added value in this sector through unprecedented and never seen before solutions, and until now we have focused on doing this through the technical advantages of our products and materials, with NXPadelSelection we wanted to take the aesthetics of the Padel Court to the next level so that it can reflect the most exclusive uniqueness of the people who will want to identify with it through three concepts and three different stories to tell.
- Unbelievably, tell us a little bit more about these three limited editions and these three stories.
The David, The Spectre, and The Timber while having in common the fact that they are fiberglass courts with all the attached technologies developed by us, tell three very different stories that we were able to achieve by reinterpreting the structure in three different versions to give each Selection its iconic style. In The David, inspired by Michelangelo’s David, we wanted to recreate the marble: here, the white of the structure combined with the black ZeroS carpet will create an effect of contrasts that make this court a true ode to beauty and the most sophisticated elegance.
In The Spectre, we have recreated carbon fiber, which, combined with the details and the flaming red carpet, expresses a modern, hi-tech, eclectic, and whimsical spirit. A court that stands for energy, speed, and revolution.
Finally, in The Timber, Fiberglass has been finely crafted to reproduce the wood of a tree. This, combined with a green-colored ZeroS carpet, recreates a magical and pure atmosphere in an atmosphere of perfect continuity and connection with nature and the most hidden and unspoiled side of our emotions.
- Very interesting indeed! Have you already imagined locations that would be perfect for these courts?
Absolutely, although as we always like to repeat, the important thing is that each of these three special courts embodies the character, the style, the spirit of the person who is going to choose it, that it can excite him or her by giving him or her an experience never seen before playing on an iconic Padel Court that embodies his or her most exclusive uniqueness.
Anyway, certainly, to give you an example, The Timber would fit perfectly in natural settings, such as in the mountains, near a forest, in the countries of Northern Europe or North America, while The Spectre I see it more in a metropolis surrounded by lights and modernity and finally The David is perfect for a private home, for a luxurious resort although in my opinion it is so beautiful, elegant and easily matched that it would look really good anywhere.
- And from when will they be available on the market?
They have already been on pre-sale since February 9 but the official launch is set for April 1. Only 30 numbered copies will be available (10 for each of the three Selections) so it will be a very exclusive release where we wanted to emphasize the extraordinariness of this amazing project.
