La Pro Padel League Event 2 concluyó esta madrugada y lo hizo con la victoria de Los Angeles Beat después de superar a los Flowrida Goats por 2-1. Este triunfo además aúpa al conjunto californiano a la primera posición de la clasificación general después de jugarse las dos primeras pruebas del calendario.

The Pro Padel League Event 2 concluded this morning with Los Angeles Beat beating the Flowrida Goats 2-1. The win also lifts the Californian team to the top of the overall standings after the first two tournaments of the calendar.

Los Angeles Beat win with a comeback victory

After the Miami Padel Club won the first tournaments of the calendar, it was time to find out which team would be crowned champions on the second day, played at the Club Ultra in Miami.

The Los Angeles Beat would be in charge of taking the victory after beating the Flowrida Goats after coming from behind.

Mapi Sanchez Alayeto and Aranza Osoro put the Florida team in the lead after the Spaniard and Argentine beat Jessica Castelló and Eli Amatriaín 3-6, 6-2, 10-7.

Los Angeles Beat would react with the victory of Tolito Aguirre and Javi Leal, who beat Pablo Lijo and Victor Ruiz 7-6, 6-2.

The comeback would culminate with the mixed match, thanks to Jessica Castelló and Tolito Aguirre ‘s 6-4 win over Pablo Lijo and Aranza Osoro.

Arkansas Matrix finish in third position

Prior to the final of this Pro Padel League Event 2, the fight for third and fourth place took place, which pitted Arkansas Matrix against the Toronto Polar Bears.

The mixed match was again the one that would determine which team would finish this tournaments in third position, falling to Arkansas Matrix thanks to the victory of Gonzalo Rubio and Patty Llaguno against Victoria Iglesias and Javi Gonzalez Barahona by 6-3.

Standings after the Pro Padel League Event 2

After the first two tournaments of the Pro Padel League calendar, the Los Angeles Beat team leads the standings, showing that they have been the most consistent team. They are 150 points ahead of Miami Padel Club, in second place, and 250 points ahead of Las Vegas Smash.
