One of the most acclaimed blades within Wilson are the Blade, which has been accompanying players for several years across the planet. A series of high performance products that have been renewed in this 2024 to continue to delight everyone with its V3 collection.
Now they also have one of the best players in the world to use the flagship of the Blade V3: Javi Garrido, who joined the Wilson family several months ago and has chosen the Pro version as his faithful companion in the best tournaments of Premier Padel. An incorporation of the highest level for the ranks of the American brand.
The models launched are three: Blade Pro V3, Blade V3 and Blade LS V3. Each one with different characteristics, but with the same philosophy. These bats are focused on trying to squeeze the maximum performance in every aspect of the game and, although some have tended towards the offensive part, they shine for their versatility and adaptation to any style and level of play.
The new Wilson Blade V3 rackets
Wilson Blade Pro V3
A player like Javi Garrido needs a racket with which he can show his full potential on the best courts. That’s why the American firm wanted to give this model a facelift. The Wilson Pro V3 is pure power, unlike the V2, which was more of a hybrid.
This new model has a slightly higher balance , 27 centimetres, and a harder feel. The face material is 3K carbon fibre, which together with the stiff rubber gives it a great reactivity when in contact with the ball. More speed, more explosiveness, more ‘Metralleta’ for the player from Córdoba.

At first glance, you can see how it has changed the aesthetics and the rough, to improve the effects, but what is most striking is that the piece of the heart of the racket is no longer there. However, despite the clear more offensive inclination, it maintains its teardrop shape. In addition, it has good manoeuvrability for its 365 grams of weight. The hole pattern has also been changed, which are now higher up, going from larger in the head to smaller towards the grip.
Overall, it is more technical, stiffer and more attacker-friendly than its predecessor, but it is also more reactive and powerful.
Wilson Blade V3
If the Pro is more offensive than ever, this Blade V3 tries to adapt to a wider group of playing styles. It is more versatile and adaptable than its sister and its characteristics make it easier for players with less level or looking for extra help in all areas of the court.
Its balance is slightly lower (26.7 cm), although this version does not have the old heart piece either. In terms of weight, it is exactly the same at 365 grams. However, the biggest change is the face material. We go from pure carbon fibre to a combination of carbon fibre and glass fibre. A mix that brings together the best characteristics of each one, providing greater comfort when hitting, but maintaining great power and ball output. Although, yes, it also has the Firm EVA rubber, which ensures good reactivity.
The new hole pattern and the rough is also the same, so the philosophy is very similar. The main changes are that the softer feel makes it less difficult to master and the improved manoeuvrability makes it more versatile.
Wilson Blade LS V3
The Blade LS V3 is the most adaptable and versatile version of this range. While the other two were focused on an offensive style of play, with the Pro standing out a little more, this model focuses on comfort on the court to find the best sensations regardless of the level. In addition, maintaining the philosophy of Blade, it also wants to provide great power to the player, but in this case with less effort.
Its differences, unlike the others, can be seen both aesthetically and in the materials and characteristics. The balance is medium to high, but it is the smallest of all, with 26 centimetres. The faces are made of a fibreglass construction, which makes for a softer and more forgiving hit. In addition, the rubber is softer than the other two models, which makes it less reactive, but generates more speed with less effort.
If the others are for more advanced or intermediate players, this Blade LS V3 will suit almost any player.
