The Pro Padel League 2025 brought the curtain down in New York with some truly luxurious finals, where the stars of the circuit offered spectacle, emotion and a high level of competition. In a tournament marked by intensity and passion, the spotlight went to two names of their own: Agustín Tapia and Fede Chingotto, who won the men’s title, and the duo of Ari Sánchez and Andrea Ustero, who shone in the women’s draw. In addition, the New York Atlantics franchise completed a great performance, proclaiming themselves team champions in a thrilling end to the season.
Tapia and Chingotto defeated Bautista and Bergamini.
Normally rivals in Premier Padel, Agustin Tapia and Fede Chingotto have joined forces this season in the Pro Padel League. In The City’s Finals they couldn’t have had a better performance: full of victories and a title for the Miami Padel Club, who celebrated in New York a triumph that was as convincing as it was symbolic. The chemistry between the world number one and number three worked to perfection, something that is not surprising, as they already played together at the last World Championships.
The Argentine duo arrived with a thorn in their side after their discreet performance in San Sebastian, but on American soil everything was different. Although Chingotto was initially going to play the FIP Platinum in Lyon, a last minute change allowed this reunion with Tapia. From the first matches they showed their superiority: they won easily in the quarterfinals against Jofre and Arroyo, repeated their authority in the semifinals against Augsburger and Rubini, and closed their campaign with a hard-fought 7-6, 6-3 victory over Bergamini and Bautista in the final.

Ari Sanchez and Andrea Ustero surprise in the women’s draw
In the women’s category, Ariana Sanchez and Andrea Ustero put in a memorable performance. In the semifinals they eliminated no less than the favourites, Gemma Triay and Delfi Brea, showing an outstanding understanding. This result not only catapulted them to the final, but also suggests that if they want to, they can have a future together in the Premier.
In the final match, the New York Atlantics representatives beat Vero Virseda and Claudia Jensen 6-2, 7-5, dominating the game with solidity and composure. With this victory in the finals, they become the new women’s champions of the Pro Padel League Finals 2025, closing a brilliant week.

New York Atlantics, team champions
Although Tapia and Chingotto won the men’s title, the Miami Padel Club franchise could not take the overall crown, closing the season in third place. Ahead of them, the San Diego Stingrays, runners-up in both categories, put in a remarkable performance.
But it was the New York Atlantics, who combined the success of Sanchez and Ustero with a third place finish from Jon Sanz and Lucas Campagnolo to take the team championship title. Just two points broke up the New Yorkers from the Stingrays in a tightly contested standings.
