Agustin Tapia and Arturo Coello win another title in the circuit after winning the Buenos Aires Premier Padel P1 after defeating Paquito Navarro and Lucas Bergamini 6-2, 6-2 in a final that barely lasted 55 minutes.
The world number one couple showed again why they are at the top of the FIP ranking. After an even start (2-2), Tapia and Coello imposed their devastating rhythm, stringing together four consecutive games to close out the first set 6-2, hardly giving their rivals any options.

In the second set, the champions extended their dominance with three more consecutive games (3-0), extending their lead to seven games. Navarro and Bergamini managed to react with two consecutive games, which gave some hope to the Spanish-Brazilian duo, but the mirage was short-lived: Coello and Tapia responded with an immediate counterbreak and sealed the final with another 6-2.

With this victory in Buenos Aires, Tapia and Coello win their fourth title of the season 2025, becoming the most successful couple of the season, ahead of Galan and Chingotto, who have three. In addition, the number ones lift the trophy again in Argentina, two years after winning on this same stage, and take the thorn out of the defeat in last year’s final against Galan and Chingotto.
For Paquito Navarro and Lucas Bergamini, the final is their best result of the season, but it also makes clear the challenge of beating the great dominators of the circuit. Even so, their progression as a duo is starting to show positive signs in a year in which they are looking to establish themselves in the decisive rounds.
