The Reserve Cup Series will arrive in Marbella from 18 to 20 September 2025, turning Puente Romano Marbella into a true epicentre of world padel.
For three days, the historic resort, with a long tradition linked to this sport and host to major events such as the World Padel Tour, will host the first international stop of the Reserve Cup Series 2025. This event combines sporting excellence with luxury and exclusivity in a setting that combines international tourism, high-level competition and a premium lifestyle.

After its debut in Miami in 2024 and its return to that city in early 2025, the series is making its first stop outside the United States, consolidating Reserve Padel’s global ambition. Its founder and CEO, Wayne Boich, pointed out that Marbella had always been a dream destination for the tournament because of its energy, history and the Spanish passion for padel. Jimmy Butler, honorary president, said that the authenticity and enthusiasm that permeates the city will make this edition the most vibrant yet.
What is the format of the competition and which players will be playing in Marbella?
The tournament will feature two elite teams led by captains, a team competition format and a prize pool of $500,000, matching the figure for the inaugural edition in Miami.
Names such as Arturo Coello, Agustín Tapia, Alejandro Galán, Miguel Yanguas, Coki Nieto, Pablo Cardona and Javi Garrido have already been confirmed. For Coello, the event offers something different: high-level competition in an exclusive setting and the chance to play as part of a team, with the added incentive of doing so for the first time in Spain, and in Marbella no less.
The Reserve Cup Marbella is made possible thanks to the support of brands and entities such as Moncayo, Playtomic, Red Bull, Sierra Blanca Estates, Discovery Land Company, Puente Romano Marbella, Aston Martin, Commonwealth Asset Management and Marbella Town Council.
The mayor of the municipality, María Ángeles Muñoz, emphasised that this event will reinforce the city’s position as an international benchmark for padel and as a destination for wellness and active living throughout the year. For his part, Gonzalo Rodríguez, general manager of Puente Romano, highlighted that welcoming the world’s elite is a significant moment for the club and that Reserve’s modern, lifestyle-oriented vision fits naturally with the resort’s DNA.
