The Reserve Cup 2026 returns to Marbella. From 18 to 20 June, the Puente Romano Beach Resort will once again be the venue for one of the most spectacular events in the world of padel.
This year’s edition features a historic first: for the first time ever, there will be a women’s competition. Here’s all the information you need so you don’t miss a thing.
When and where is it taking place?
The Reserve Cup Marbella 2026 begins this Thursday, 18 June, and ends on Saturday, 20 June. The event takes place on the Central Court at the Puente Romano, decked out for the occasion as the tournament’s official glass court. It is the second stop on the competition’s schedule this year, following the season opener in Miami last January.
Doors open at 4.30 pm each day. On Thursday, at 5.55 pm, the team presentations will take place. The first match will start at 18:00, the second at 20:00, and the third will follow. The prize-giving ceremony is scheduled for 22:00 on Saturday.
What is the Reserve Cup, and how does it work?
Unlike the tournaments on the Premier Padel circuit, the Reserve Cup is not played by fixed pairs, but by teams. Two groups face off over the course of the three days, and it is the captains who decide the pairings on a day-by-day basis. This allows us to see pairs that would never face each other in the official competition.
The format is designed to be entertaining: faster-paced matches, played over two sets with a super tie-break, and a progressive points system that keeps the excitement going right to the end. Matches on the first day are worth fewer points and those on the last day are worth more, meaning nothing is decided until the final day.
As for the setting in which all this takes place, around the court, the event features a fan zone with bars and food trucks that extends the experience well into the night.
The teams at the 2026 Reserve Cup Marbella
As we’ve already mentioned, two teams will face off in this tournament. On one side, Team Reserve and, on the other, Team Sierra Blanca Estates.
The confirmed players in the men’s draw are: Ale Galán, Leo Augsburger, Arturo Coello, Coki Nieto, Fran Guerrero, Mike Yanguas, Jon Sanz, Javi Garrido, Javi Leal, Lucas Bergamini, Javi Barahona and Gonzalo Alfonso.
In the historic women’s draw, the players who will be in Marbella are: Tamara Icardo, Ale Alonso, Alejandra Salazar, Sofía Araújo (replacing Delfi Brea, who has pulled out at the last minute), Lara Arruabarrena and Nuria Rodríguez.
The big news for 2026 is precisely the inclusion of these women’s matches. Several of the world’s top players, split into two teams of three, will open each day of competition and compete for a prize fund separate from the men’s draw.
Which matches have been confirmed so far?
So far, only the main fixtures for each day have been announced. For example, on Thursday 18 June, Javi Leal and Arturo Coello will face Ale Galán and Mike Yanguas at 8.00 pm (3.00 pm in Argentina).
For the Friday 19 June session, the match confirmed for 8.00 pm is Arturo Coello and Javi Garrido versus Leo Augsburger and Mike Yanguas.
And to round off the competition, Arturo Coello and Coki Nieto will face Leo Augsburger and Ale Galán on Saturday 20 June, also starting at 8.00 pm.

Reserve Cup Marbella 2026 tickets: where to buy them and prices
Tickets are sold exclusively through Ticketmaster, and those still available start at 74 euros. There are various options: day tickets, three-day passes and VIP experiences with private boxes.
As capacity at the Centre Court is limited and the event attracts an international audience, it’s advisable to buy in advance: tickets for the previous edition sold out quickly.
