HEAD, the international leading racquet sports brand, has announced that it will once again serve as the official ball of the Gijon Premier Padel P2, taking place this week at the Palacio de Deportes de la Guía–Presidente Adolfo Suárez. The Austrian brand will be on hand at the tournament—the second stop of the 2026 Qatar Airways Premier Padel Tour season and the first event of the year in Spain—showcasing its two flagship ball models: the HEAD Padel Pro+ and the HEAD Padel Pro S+.

Both models feature a core engineered to maintain pressure for longer, combined with a new felt developed exclusively for padel to enhance durability. The HEAD Padel Pro+ is designed with a thinner wall for improved control and is particularly favored by players who prioritize precision. The HEAD Padel Pro S+ offers greater firmness and a higher bounce, enabling a faster style of play. In addition, the balls are now packaged in more sustainable tubes, featuring a redesigned construction that is more eco-friendly and easier to recycle.
HEAD will serve as the official ball for the second time at a Premier Padel tournament held in Spain, a milestone highlighted by Ricky Brigolle, Category Manager Racquetsports at HEAD Spain: “We are very pleased to be the official ball of the Gijon Premier Padel P2 once again. It’s a great opportunity for players to compete with our new and improved HEAD Padel Pro+ and HEAD Padel Pro S+, balls designed to optimize on-court performance while also advancing sustainability. We are confident they will help deliver a spectacular show.”

In the same vein, Joan Cuscó, President of Octagon Spain, emphasized the value of the partnership: “HEAD is a globally recognized brand, and its prestige, along with its renowned seal of quality, is a guarantee for us. Having them back as the official ball this year elevates the level of the event and underscores our commitment to providing the best possible experience for both players and fans.”
Through this collaboration, HEAD strengthens its commitment to the Premier Padel circuit and consolidates its presence in the main tournaments on the international calendar, reaffirming its focus on innovation, high performance, and sustainability in professional padel.
