Saturday finals at the foot of the Pyramids. The Newgiza P2 came to a close, crowning its winners under the humid night sky of the Egyptian desert. It was a day where logic prevailed and the favorites delivered without leaving any options open.
These are the winners of the Newgiza P2
Galán and Chingotto do their homework
They were the big favorites from the start and could not afford to slip up. With the No. 1 seeds out of the draw, Ale Galán and Fede Chingotto had a golden opportunity and took full advantage of it. Opposite them were Jon Sanz and Paquito Navarro, who came into the final full of enthusiasm and more than deserving of their place, but they came up against a wall.
The first set lasted barely twenty minutes. Galán was unstoppable, Chingotto was impeccable in his direction, and the score says it all: 6-1. In the second set, the Spaniards threatened to react, but it was only a mirage. Ale and Fede’s dominance was total, closing with a 6-2 that left no room for doubt.

They have not lost a single set in the entire tournament and have won their second consecutive title. They are heading into the World Doubles Championship and anything can happen between now and the end of the season. This pair gives off a very serious vibe.
Ari Sánchez and Paula JosemarÃa are still in the fight
The women’s final opened the day with a clash of generations. Ari Sánchez and Paula JosemarÃa, under pressure to stay alive in the fight for No. 1, faced Alejandra Salazar and Martina Calvo, the most age-disparate pair on the circuit.
Ari and Paula’s veteran status and experience as a pair was evident from the outset. They swept aside Salazar and Calvo, who never had a chance to get into the match. 6-3/6-0 for them, who now have their sixth title of the season and remain in the fight for the top spot until the math says otherwise.

As an interesting fact, if we look at the titles won by this pair, who were crowned champions today, they are the first in the history of Premier Padel to win a title on each of the continents where the circuit has been held.
