All the information you need to follow the Hexagon Cup
What is the Hexagon Cup and what does it consist of?
The big news compared to previous editions is the arrival of the International Padel Federation. Until now, the Hexagon Cup was more of an exhibition competition than an official one, but this edition will be regulated by the FIP. It will not award points for the ranking, but it will be under the same governance as Premier Padel, which is key to unifying sporting and organizational criteria within professional padel.
The format is simple and very attractive for spectators. First, a round robin will be played between all the teams to establish the overall ranking. Victories in the men’s and women’s categories will earn two points, while Next Gen matches will earn one point. On Sunday, the decisive moment will arrive, with the grand final between the two teams that have accumulated the most points.
Matches will be played as best of two sets and, in the event of a tie, will be decided by a tiebreak to ten points in the third set. It is a short, dynamic format designed to maintain intensity during five days of non-stop padel.
The teams
This is undoubtedly the great differentiating factor of the Hexagon Cup. It was the competition that opened the door to the team format in professional padel and the one that has best exploited it. The 20×10 format is combined here with stars from the worlds of sport, business, and entertainment, achieving visibility that goes far beyond the usual audience.

There are eight teams, each made up of six players: a male couple, a female couple, and a Next Gen couple, designed to give prominence to the future stars of the circuit. Each team also has a high-profile owner, including names such as Sergio Agüero, Robert Lewandowski, Eva Longoria, and Andy Murray, among others.
Match schedule
From Wednesday to Saturday, eight matches will be played per day, starting at 11:00 a.m. and ending at approximately 11:00 p.m. On Sunday, the day of the finals, the action will start at 10:00 a.m. The complete and more detailed order of play will be available on the tournament’s official channels.
